Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village

Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village was built in 1985. This museum consists of several sections such as the Main Building, Science and Education Centre, Heritage Village, Sabah Art Gallery and Museum of Islamic Civilization. The Heritage Village on the Museum grounds enables you to enter and experience different types of traditional houses of the various indigenous groups of Sabah such as Kadazan, Dusun, Rungus, and others. Cultural activities are held here from time to time where you can see traditional bamboo dancing.
