Danum Valley Conservation Area

Danum Valley Conservation Area (DVCA) is the largest protected lowland dipterocarp forest in Sabah, Malaysia. It covers an area of 43,800 hectares and managed by Yayasan Sabah for conservation, research, education and physical training purposes.

Nature
Lowland rainforest birds and mammals. Orang utans, gibbons, and other primates, including the tarsier at night.

Visitor Activities
Bird watching, wildlife watching and forest treks. Swimming in lowland rivers.
