Sabah Whitewater Rafting

The two main rivers for rafting in Sabah are the Padas and Kiulu rivers which are certified as Grade 3 and Grade 2 respectively in the international white water rafting grading system.

This exciting sport of rafting down rivers with foaming, turbulent rapids is a big attraction for both locals and foreigners' in Sabah.

The Padas river challenge adventure seekers to defy its thundering wavesover 10 feet high whereas Kiulu Rivers offer family fun with white waters separated by enough calm stretches of river to recuperate.

A minimum of three persons is necessary to stabilize a raft and each group is always accompanied by two certified rafters.
